Yankees Hoarding Cheerwine at Local Market

Shoppers' Tips Help Nab Cheerwine Hoarders!

Store Owner Refuses to Sell Cheerwine!

Is a possible Cheerwine shortage being created by Yankees buying large quantities of Cheerwine to bring back North? That's the story that Cheer-watch News Team correspondent Skip DeLuca has uncovered. Suspected Cheerwine hoarders Eddie "Triple Cherries" Timpanello and Louis "Screwy Louie" Johnson were caught Cheerwine-red-handed in the parking lot of a local market by our own Skip DeLuca. They are suspected of buying out entire Cheerwine displays at 6 local supermarkets and convenience stores and then bringing the cherry different soft drink back to Long Island, NY where it was "illegally" distributed to friends and relatives in various Cheerwine-less parts of New York and New Jersey.

Unfortunately, the pair of Yankee Cheerwine hoarders are now on the loose and Cheer-watch News Team correspondent Skip DeLuca has not been seen or heard from since reporting this story.

If you've seen Eddie "Triple Cherries" Timpanello, Louis "Screwy Louie" Johnson (see Surveillance Photos at right) or Skip DeLuca, please contact us through this website. All tipsters' information will be kept confidential.

Behind the Scenes at Cheerwine
Did you ever wonder how our delicious “cherry different” Cheerwine is made? We bet you think it’s a highly automated process, all done by machine and never touched by a human hand! Truth be told, Cheerwine is hand made in small batches everyday, using a secret formula passed down by generations of Cheerwine makers. We still use the original recipe and as you can imagine that recipe remains a guarded secret. Even today Cheerwine is still crafted by a "Cheer-maker," a key person responsible for upholding the tradition since 1917.

So now when you think of Cheerwine, think hand-crafted, think made in small batches, think of the craftsmanship passed down by generations of Cheerwine makers and above all think care and quality. It’s all part of our commitment to "Protecting Your Right to Drink Cheerwine."
